- In-charge of the Accelerated Rural Water Supply Program and projects assisted by the World Bank and bilateral agencies in India.
- In-charge of Public Health Engineering Training of in-service engineers of the central and state governments in the field of Leak Detection, Preventive Maintenance, Water Supply and Waste Disposal. Programs were also conducted for the engineers of foreign governments on request.

- Reviewing the Rural Water Supply & Sanitation (RWSS) data collected in two provinces viz., Lampung in Bengkulu (Sumatra), Indonesia and to assist in planning and drafting master plans.
- Carrying out specialized studies relating to institutional aspects, man power development, rehabilitation, operation and maintenence and health education.
- Preparation of phased implementation plan for the provision and rehabilitation of RWSS.

- Preparation of implementation plan for provision of Rural Water Supply and Sanitation (RWSS) in South Sulawesi Province, Indonesia.
- Estimation of man power requirements for the implementation of the RWSS program.
- Assisting in finalising the engineering reports, design and drawings for the selected 25 gravity piped water supply schemes.
